Dr Sree Prathap

He is the Founder and Chairman of Shadithya Hospital, which is a tertiary care hospital for psychiatric care. This is a 200-bedded Psychiatric hospital in Chennai(www.shadithyahospital.com)

He was passionate to start a good quality psychiatric care service in India and came back to India after working in the UK for 14 years. Through his hospital he is able to offer a lot of new services which are now available in India.

He runs a successful revision course for the MRCPsych in the UK for 20 years. He is the Founder and Director of the "SPMM course" for the MRCPsych in the UK.(http://spmmcourse.com)

His special interest is to raise public and professional awareness regarding mental health. He runs a famous you tube channel for the last 5 years- "Psychiatrist Prathap".

He is also the author of the self motivational non fiction book "The Golden Nuggets for Success and Hapiness", published by the Notion Press.

He is a gold medallist and was the best outgoing student of the medical college. He received the "best doctors award" from IMA in 2020 and "Star Doctor award" by the Tamilnadu medical council in 2021 and Health care excellence award in 2023.
